☑️ Requirements

This course is suitable for teams who:

• Have a basic understanding of agility and common handling concepts.
• Can use a clear focus cue for a toy or remote food trainer and to an agility obstacle.
• Have basic impulse control, including calmly waiting while a reward is presented.
• Can start towards a static reward (toy or remote food trainer) on cue.
• Want to build the Layering Cue and Connection Cue from the ground up.
• Are willing to train step by step and give their dog time to clearly understand each cue.

⚒️ Required Equipment

You don’t need a large training area for this course.

You will need:

• 1 tunnel, ideally as short as possible
• 2-3 jumps
• field size: ca. 10 x 15 cm (33 × 49 ft)
  ➡️ 3/4 of this course is possible with ca. 8 x 4 m (26 × 13 ft)

💡 Good to Know

These cues provide an important foundation for handling more complex agility situations. Once your dog understands them, they can be applied and further developed in practical course work and more advanced training.
